Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1809 that fixes a huge amount of bugs and issues. Some of the highlighted issues that are fixes with this release are high CPU when switching apps, Calculator shutting down, incorrect file and folder properties in File Explorer, and Narrator not opening properly.


Microsoft strongly recommends you install the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU). The update also includes a fix for an issue that prevented minimized windows from being restored, closed, or maximized on some PCs. Another bug where the cursor may not appear when you select text input using touch has been addressed.


The Windows maker has released another batch of cumulative updates (third this month) to several versions of Windows 10. Today's updates aren't available for the latest May 2019 Update. Except for that, almost every supported version has received this non-security quality update. Some of the notable fixes coming with these latest updates include:
